Chris Moore is a British painter and illustrator, best known for his book covers, especially in the field of science fiction. He has created cover images for works by many of the most famous authors in science fiction and fantasy, as well as for many other (non sci-fi) authors. Some his work has even been launched into space.

Here is a selection of some of his artworks. More artworks can be found on the Chris Moore's official site. His website provides information on his wide ranging skills and abilities, biography, as well as samples of his work. Prints of selected images are also available.

Art Book: "Journeyman: Art of Chris Moore", by Stephen Gallagher, is a profusely illustrated book that explores Moore’s life, art, and technique. The first collection by Chris Moore includes a dazzling array of paintings completed for book covers, posters and albums. From life-like to fantastical, dramatically colourful to simple sketches, the versatility of Chris Moore’s work is a feast for the eye. Through a series of conversations, acclaimed thriller writer Stephen Gallagher tells the story of the modern-day journeyman and along the way reveals fascinating insights into the process of creating art.
